How often do you boil bottle nipples?

How often is it really necessary to boil bottle nipples? My baby is breastfed but uses bottles while I’m at work, so she doesn’t use very many. Usually I just wash them at night with hot soapy water. I understand why you have to boil them before the first use, but is it necessary after every feeding? Also, does anyone know a good way to dry the nipples so they don’t have water spots? I am kind of a fanatic about the nipples being spotless!!

I see you are a fanatic about spotless nipples. I was also fanatical about bottle nipples and boiled them after each use. Better to be sure than sorry and my kids never got gastric wogs so it was worth it.

There is a very simple and cheap sterilising unit available which sterilises in just a few minutes in the microwave. Money well spent!
